We proudly supported the active participation of our third-year Nursing students from the Vocational Medical School in the simulation exercise “Bio Ex” (Simulation Exercise: Medical Management in a CBRN Emergency), held at the Stenkovec sports airport. Through this highly specialized and practical training activity, we reaffirmed our commitment to delivering hands-on, experience-based education that prepares our students to confidently face real-world healthcare challenges. By engaging in such advanced simulation environments, we continue to enhance the quality and relevance of our academic programs in alignment with contemporary medical and emergency response standards.

Under the supervision and guidance of their lecturers, our students demonstrated a high level of professionalism and responsibility as they actively participated in triage procedures, patient assessment, and the provision of initial nursing care in a simulated chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear emergency scenario. This immersive experience allowed them to apply their theoretical knowledge in a realistic and high-pressure context, while also strengthening their teamwork, decision-making, and clinical response skills. Their performance throughout the exercise reflected our strong emphasis on discipline, preparedness, and the development of competent healthcare practitioners.

Through initiatives such as “Bio Ex,” we continue to invest in the practical training and professional growth of our students, ensuring they are well-equipped to respond effectively in complex and high-risk situations. These experiences play a vital role in shaping confident, skilled, and resilient healthcare professionals who are ready to contribute meaningfully to society. We remain dedicated to expanding such opportunities and fostering an educational environment that prioritizes excellence, innovation, and real-world readiness in the field of healthcare.
