We proudly organized the first training session of the IBU Archery Club at our Archery Grounds, under the coordination of our Student Wellbeing Center, marking an important milestone in enriching student life and expanding extracurricular opportunities on our campus. With the valuable support of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, we continue to strengthen our commitment to fostering a dynamic and engaging university environment where students can develop both personally and socially through diverse activities.
The session brought together a vibrant group of students in an energetic and motivating atmosphere, where participants had the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of archery, practice their skills, and experience the discipline, precision, and focus that the sport requires. The training was conducted under the professional guidance of our instructors, Irfan Mehmed and Selma Mehmed, who ensured a safe, structured, and inclusive learning experience. Through this activity, we created a space that encourages teamwork, concentration, and the development of new skills beyond the classroom.
We were particularly pleased to witness the enthusiasm and active participation of both beginners and experienced students throughout the session, reflecting the strong interest in such initiatives within our academic community. This first training session established a solid foundation for the continued growth of the Archery Club, including future practices, events, and competitions. We remain dedicated to supporting student-centered activities that contribute to a well-rounded university experience and look forward to welcoming our students to upcoming sessions.
