We proudly supported the participation of our students from the ELT and PCG departments at the Hamilton House Academic Seminar 2026, titled “Experiential Learning: Motivate, Mediate, Cultivate,” held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Skopje. Accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Igballe Miftari-Fetishi, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Marija Stevkovska, our students engaged in a dynamic academic environment that brought together educators and professionals dedicated to advancing innovative teaching practices in the field of English language education.
Throughout the seminar, participants attended a series of four specialized workshops that explored key contemporary approaches in teaching and learning. These sessions addressed essential topics such as skills development for 21st-century teachers, playful learning in preschool English education, mediation in the foreign language classroom as a tool for bridging communication gaps, and the use of experiential games to enhance motivation and engagement. By actively participating in these workshops, our students gained valuable insights into modern pedagogical strategies and strengthened their understanding of effective, learner-centered teaching methodologies.
Through such opportunities, we continue to emphasize our commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and the professional development of our students. Participation in international and locally organized academic events enables us to connect theory with practice, enrich the learning experience, and prepare future educators to meet the evolving demands of the global education landscape. We remain dedicated to fostering a forward-thinking academic community that empowers our students to become confident, skilled, and impactful professionals.
