On 18th April 2026, we proudly hosted the second round of the Regional ELTAM MK English language high-school competition, welcoming talented students from across Skopje to our campus. Organized by the English Language Teachers' Association of Macedonia in collaboration with our English Language Teaching Department and the Faculty of Education, this important academic event brought together motivated young learners in a dynamic and competitive environment that promotes excellence in English language proficiency. By hosting this competition, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting educational initiatives that empower students and strengthen language education within the wider community.
Throughout the event, we actively engaged our ELT and PCG students, who contributed as invigilators and provided essential logistical support to participating English teachers. Their involvement created a valuable experiential learning opportunity, allowing them to gain first-hand insight into the processes of test design, administration, and assessment within a real academic setting. Through this hands-on participation, we enhanced their professional development and encouraged them to connect theoretical knowledge with practical application, reinforcing our dedication to preparing future educators with the skills and confidence required for their careers.
This initiative reflects our broader mission to foster quality education, community engagement, and student-centered learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom. By creating opportunities for both high-school participants and our own students to collaborate and grow, we continue to build strong connections with educational partners while nurturing a culture of academic excellence and innovation. We look forward to continuing this journey with the upcoming State English competition in May, where we will once again contribute to supporting talented students from across the country and further strengthen our role as a hub for educational development and international standards in language teaching.
