We proudly hosted a meaningful and inspiring event on our campus in celebration of National Sovereignty and Children’s Day on April 23, reaffirming our commitment to fostering community engagement and nurturing the aspirations of younger generations. On this special occasion, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, together with the President of the Board, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilal Sucubaşı, warmly welcomed students from Tefeyyüz Primary School, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere that reflected the true spirit of the day. Through this initiative, we strengthened our connection with the community while promoting the values of education, inclusion, and inspiration that define International Balkan University.

As part of the program, we provided the visiting students with the opportunity to experience university life firsthand, encouraging them to explore our campus and engage with our academic environment. In alignment with the symbolic importance of the day, we organized a special handover of the Rector’s role, allowing one student to assume this position for the day. This meaningful gesture highlighted our belief in empowering young minds, emphasizing the importance of children as future leaders and decision-makers. By creating such interactive and memorable moments, we contributed to broadening students’ perspectives and strengthening their confidence in pursuing higher education.
