We had the honor of hosting H.E. Setsuko Kawahara, Ambassador of Japan to North Macedonia, as part of our Ambassadorial Lecture Series, where she delivered an insightful lecture on “Japan’s Foreign Policy.” This distinguished academic event brought together our students, academic staff, and university representatives, creating a dynamic platform for intellectual exchange and global perspective-building. Through this lecture, we further strengthened our commitment to providing our academic community with direct access to high-level diplomatic insights and contemporary international affairs.
During the lecture, H.E. Setsuko Kawahara shared valuable perspectives on Japan’s role in international relations, highlighting key aspects of its foreign policy priorities, as well as its approach to global cooperation, diplomacy, peace, and sustainable development. The event was marked by strong engagement from participants, reflecting our vibrant academic environment and our dedication to fostering critical thinking and global awareness among our students. The Ambassador was warmly welcomed by our Vice-Rector Ahmet Lökçe, Dean Sanja Adjaip Velichkovski, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Kirjakovski, who expressed their appreciation for her presence and her meaningful contribution to our academic activities.
