International Balkan University recently welcomed students from the Faculty of Law at Bursa Uludağ University as part of the project titled “Cultural Bridges of Turkish-Speaking Generations,” organized within the scope of the International Youth Mobility Projects of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye and carried out by the Gemlik Youth Center. Through this meaningful visit, we once again strengthened our commitment to fostering intercultural dialogue, academic exchange, and youth engagement while bringing together students from different backgrounds in an environment of cooperation and mutual understanding.
During the program, a productive meeting was held with Director of Gemlik Youth Center Ali Gürses and the visiting students, who were welcomed by our Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Katerina Mitevska Petrusheva and Head of the Department of Turkish Language Teaching Asst. Prof. Dr. Ekrem Destanov. The meeting created an important platform for exchanging ideas regarding potential collaborations between law faculties and student clubs, while also encouraging discussions focused on academic cooperation, student mobility, cultural interaction, and future joint initiatives. The visit provided students with the opportunity to become more familiar with the international and multicultural environment of IBU and further strengthened the ties between participating institutions.
At International Balkan University, we continue to support initiatives that contribute to youth development, international collaboration, and academic connectivity across the region. By hosting projects that encourage intercultural communication and educational cooperation, we reaffirm our dedication to creating meaningful opportunities for students to expand their perspectives, establish international networks, and actively participate in initiatives that promote dialogue and shared values among future generations.
