International Balkan University (IBU) held a solemn commemoration ceremony in memory of the victims who lost their lives in the devastating fire in Kočani. The event aimed to honor their memory and express deep condolences to their families and loved ones.

The ceremony began with a one-minute moment of silence, during which students, academics, and administrative staff paid their respects to the victims. Following this, participants laid flowers at a designated memorial area and signed a remembrance book to share their thoughts, prayers, and messages of support for the grieving families.

As part of its commitment to solidarity and compassion, IBU also launched a donation initiative within the university. Donation boxes were placed in the campus, allowing students, faculty, and staff to contribute to a meaningful cause. The funds raised will be donated to the families of the victims.
