The 15th Annual Student Exhibition, a powerful celebration of creativity and innovation, officially opened its doors at the Museum of the City of Skopje. Organized by International Balkan University’s Faculty of Art and Design, and Department of Architecture at Faculty of Engineering, the event brought together an energetic mix of imagination, skill, and academic achievement.

The event drew a diverse crowd of academics, architects, artists, students, and proud families who gathered to witness the future of art and design come to life. From bold artistic expressions to cutting-edge architectural concepts, the exhibition reflects the remarkable talent and dedication nurtured within IBU’s academic halls.

The opening ceremony featured inspiring speeches from IBU Rector Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marija Miloshevska Janakieska, Head of the Architecture Department, and Prof. Laze Tripkov from the Faculty of Art & Design, each emphasizing the importance of creativity, critical thinking, and the role of art in shaping our world.

Rector Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar highlighted the vital role of art and design in shaping a connected and thoughtful society, emphasizing creativity as a force for cultural impact and real-world solutions. He praised the students’ originality and the high quality of their work as a reflection of IBU’s educational excellence, encouraging them to keep pushing boundaries, stay curious, and confidently pursue their creative paths.

Distinguished guests, including the Vice Rector, Secretary General, Deans, professors, and parents, were among those present. Following the official remarks, guests explored the exhibition, guided by the very students and professors who brought the showcased pieces to life. Rector Sunar personally engaged with students, taking time to learn about each project, offering encouragement and praise.

The exhibition will remain open to the public until June 03, offering an exceptional opportunity for the community to experience a new generation’s vision in art and architecture.
