Clinical psychology is an academic and applied psychological discipline that focuses on the study of behavior and mental processes and applies the results of this study to various aspects of individual, group, and community functioning. The description of clinical psychology emphasizes processes related to assessment, testing, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological issues; mental and emotional disorders, as well as behavioral disturbances. In this context, the study program in Clinical Psychology offers a modern approach that combines studies from psychology, psychopathology, and psychotherapy. The program is a synthesis of theoretical perspectives and empirical research findings from these fields.
